Research indicates this was an ammo box that was used in the mid sections of the B 17, B 24 and B 25 Bombers. It is made of phenolic plastic and aluminum with cloth handles. The box does not have any markings that we can find. Paired with the box is a section of flexible feed chute. There are some dings and dents to the chute
