Like many of the Whale Tail Weaving products, They were making them for themselves first, and found that you loved them as much as they did. They took some time to get the design just right, and are excited to offer them to you! *We're sensitive that ears can be sensitive. To avoid tarnishing or allergic reactions, we worked with a brass base with 14k gold plating for the metallic portion of these designs.
